The talent continued into the Middle School Session. It’s always exciting and fun to see the up and coming talent before they get to high school. Special Thanks to Oderah Chidom of Duke, Gabby Green the future Cal Bear, Alex Kalmbach, all of Project Basketball, Dan Olson of ESPNW/Hoopgurlz,  1st String Mag, and NSR Report who came out it’s greatly appreciated!

NSR REPORT PLAYER TIP SHEET

Ayon Carter 5’6 7th Grader for Ca Ballaz did it all. Played very well on both ends of the floor. Showed off her outside, mid-range, and penetration to the basket. Made some difficulty shots that were impressive. She showed no fear and played with a lot of confidence. Very exciting to watch.

Aliyah Consani-Baker 5’9 8th Grader for North Bay Elite- Your hustle player, plays both ends of the floor, grabs rebounds, gets put backs, and moves well without the ball.

Titah Fa’aita 5’10 8th Grader for Ochoa was a dominate force in the paint. She owned that area from rebounds to putbacks, she played very physical down low. Fun to watch.

Alyssa Topete 5’5 7th Grader for Cesar Chavez- Very skilled player. Solid court vision, made several nice passes. Good ball handling, can shoot and drive. Makes smart decisions with the ball.

Avery Cargill 5’5 8th Grader for Rincon Valley- is highly skilled, great fundamental skills. Plays the PG position very well. Knows where her teammates are and gets them the ball. Has a nice outside and mid-range game.

Nailah Dillard 5’4 7th Grader from Westlake Charter- Another good ball handler that made some nice moves and difficult shots. Knows the game and distributes the ball to the open teammate. Can shoot and drive and attack when the opportunity is there. Fun to watch!

Naomi Naguera 5’5 6th Grader for Bay Area Rush did a very good job on both ends of the floor. Grabbed a few rebounds and put backs. Moves well without the ball to get open.

Asia Palega 5’8 7th Grader for Albany- Has great size, strong physical player in the post. Grabbed several rebounds and made strong moves to the basket from the perimeter. Took care of business in the post area.

Abigail Pagila 5’3 6th Grader for Bayfarm did a good job in attacking the basket in the open court. Took advantage of the open lane and was able to get some points on the offensive end.

Brittney Cedeno 5’8 8th Grader for Peninsula Elite is a smooth flashy player. Has a high I.Q. who has eyes on the back of her head. She distributes very well, unselfish player, can score when necessary. Does everything well, another highlight player!

Mia Mastrov 5’0 6th Grader did a good job on both ends of the floor. Was active on offense and was a good hustle player.

Kamryn Hall 5’10 7th Grader for Natomas Charter- is going to be a problem if she keeps improving. She is very versatile. She can dribble, pass, shoot, and play all positions. Court vision is ridiculous, very fun to watch.

Lauren Frechman 4’9 6th Grader for Cal Stars did a very good job on both ends of the floor. Very active player and gets involved, plays fearless. Showed solid ball handling skills.

Bubbah Fa’aita 5’10 7th Grader for Ochoa was solid in the post area. Grabbed anything that came her way and put it back up. Goes up strong, physical in the post area, defends well.

Daylee Dunn 5’8 7th Grader for the Ca Ballaz did well on both ends of the floor. Has great length and continues to grow, needs to continue to get stronger and be more physical.

Dylan Benitez 4’7 5th Grader for MRC- was not shy on the offensive end. Showed some long range from 3 point land. Moves well without the ball, plays with confidence, good ball handling skills.

Leah Walton 5’3 8th Grader for Sequoia is an active player on both ends of the floor. Continues to shoot and drive with ease. See’s the floor very well and knows when to make the extra pass, very unselfish player with great I.Q.

Kaelyn Blackwell 5’8 7th Grader Bethany- Has great size and wing span to block shots. Did a good job on both ends of the floor. Was able to stay active on the rebounds.

Alayah Bell 5’2 8th Grader for Newark. Active player on both ends, played solid on defense. Attacked the rim when it was open. Played fearless, not afraid to be physical. Distributed the ball well to her teammates. A lot of potential.

Anjel Galbraith, 5’2, guard, 7th Grade, Nor Cal Future. Gets after it on defense, continues to improve and plays with a lot of confidence. Knows when to attack the rim if its open, plays smart. Exciting to watch!

Kaysie Watanabe 4’11 6th Grader Orinda Magic- Has solid ball handling skills, plays with confidence. Can shoot from outside if the opportunity is open. Solid court vision and moves well without the ball.

Mariah Dunlap 5’4 6th Grader for Bay Area Rush is fearless player when it comes to scoring, it’s 2nd nature. Plays with confidence. She see’s the floor well, shoots from the outside and uses her shifty moves to get her to the basket.

Hayley Van Dyke 5’10 F 8th Grader for Northcreek. Is becoming a versatile player with inside/outside game. Has great size and skills, can definitely be a problema and hard to guard if she continues to keep improving.

Olivia Walker 5’3 7th Grader for St. Vincent did a good job on both ends of the floor. Showed solid ball handling skills, played fearless against the competition. Not afraid to attack the basket when the opportunity is open.

Kaelie Nakamura 4’6 6th grader- Showed solid ball handling skills, very patient on offense, didn’t force the pass. Moves well without the ball and understands the game.

Katrina King 5’2 8th Grader for St. Clement- A definite ball player. Made several difficult shots in traffic, showed good court vision. She can shoot from outside or attack the basket. Impressive to watch, she has a lot of potential.

Jordan Sweeney 5’7 Guard 7th Garder for Delta Vista. Exciting player on both ends of the floor, plays hard with a lot of effort. If the lane is open she is driving to the basket, high intensity player and fun to watch.

Mia Sheppard 5’1 6th Grader for Orinda Magic- Can definitely attack the basket. Showed some nice footwork to create space in order for her to get her shot off. Plays physical and plays both ends of the floor well.

Rebecca Welsh 5’0 6th Grader for Christ The King- Is a definite young ball player. Very skilled player for her age, she can shoot, drive, pass. She showed some range from 3 point land, made some nice moves to the basket, and has good court vision.

Naomi Dillard 5’0 7th Grader of Westlake Charter is another young one with talent. Can dribble, penetrate, and pass. Plays with confidence among the older players. A definite player to watch.

Nyah Willis 5’8 G 7th Grade for South Bay. Extremely athletic. very physical player, and gets it done on both ends of the floor. Can play various positions and plays with alot of passion. Has solid court awareness and distributes the ball well.

Makayla Edwards, 5’8 forward, 7th grade, Nor Cal Future. Continues to improve in being a versatile player. Can play all positions if necessary. Not afraid of any player, will take it to them. Has solid court vision and distribites the ball well. Exciting to watch!

Emma Welsh 5’0 7th Grader for Excelsior did a good job on both ends of the floor, was not afraid to go after the ball and be active on defense.

Brianna Claros, 5’3, PG, 7th Grader for Peninsula Elite. Has great ball handling skills, it’s a one move and to the basket. Very impressive to watch and continues to improve. Nice inside/outside game with solid court vision. Another fun player to watch!

Rylee Sarasua 5’6 6th Grader for Bay Area Rush is another nice player who will attack the rim in the open floor. Made some nice moves to the basket. Plays with confidence and showed some solid ball handling skills.

Delia Moore 5’5 8th Grader for Modesto Magic is hustle player that gets it done on both ends of the floor. Has definitely improved on her offensive game as she made some difficulty shots to the basket. Plays with effort and a high motor!

Amaya Reynolds 5’7 8th Grader for Modesto Christian has good size and length. Moves well without the ball, was able to to grab rebounds and put backs. Plays both ends of the floor very well.

Jasmine Henderson 5’7 8th Grader is a scorer for North Bay. She uses a one move and get to the basket. Has a nice inside outside game from shooting the outside shot to attacking the rim. Plays both ends of the floor well and has good court vision.

Amber Gainer 5’5 7th Grader for MRC is a solid hustle player that plays good defense. Knows how to move without the ball and is able to get several layups in transition because she gets up the floor. Plays fearless and not afraid of contact.

Lauren Garces 5’0 5th Grader for Podesta Ranch showed very good court vision, distributes the ball well to her teammates. Displayed good ball handling skills and plays with confidence.

Amerika De Los Santos 5’0 6th grader for North Bay Elite makes it look easy oon offense. Definitely loves the game as she plays in attack mode at all times. Has nice moves to get to the basket, unselfish player see’s the floor well.

Meghna Nair 5’5 6th Grader for Bay Area Rush loves the perimeter area as she gets it done. Can easily score when penetrating to the basket. Definitely takes the opportunity on offense when it’s open.

Erica Miller 5’8 7th Grader for Cal Stars is a scorer. Very unselfish player with a nice offensive game. She can shoot, drive, and assist. See’s the floor and distributes the ball to the open teammate. Has great size and length.

Sahana Krishnamurthy 5’8 7th Grader from Hyde, did a good job on both ends of the floor. Got involved on the rebounds, wasn’t afraid of playing physical.

Emily Howie 5’4 8th Grader for Cal Stars plays hard with a lot of intensity. Has good court awareness and likes to distribute and get the team involved. Likes to shoot outside and will penetrate when the opportuninty is there. Good fundamental skills.

Hannah Jump 5’9 7th Grader for Palo Alto Midnight is another fun player to watch. She finds a way to score with or without the ball. Has a great sense of the game and knows where to be on both ends of the floor. Versatile and skilled as she can play 1-4 positions. Has great size with inside/outside.

Maiya Flores 5’5 8th Grader for North Bay was very active on offense and defense. Played physical, grabbed rebounds. Moves well without the ball. Will attack the rim if she see’s an opportunity and will shoot from outside when it’s open.

Haley Jones 5’9 7th Grader for Mission Hills. Tough physical player that is very versatile at the 1-4 positions. Can do many things well, shoot, penetrate, and makes good passes. Plays well on both ends of the floor, has great size and length. Very fun player to watch.

Jayden Benitez 5’0 8th Gradeer for MRC is a true facilitator on the court. Has great court awareness, court vision, and nice ball handling skills. Knows when to make the pass and distributes the ball well, very unselfish player. Will knock down the outside shot when the opportunity is open. Flashy player, fun to watch!

Janiya Sevilla 5’4 8th Grader for Holy Cross is a definte shooter. When players back off she will make them pay from the outside. She can drive and shoot, which ever is available she will take it.

Ryanne Walters 5’4 7th Grader for Westlake Charter- Crazy ball handling skills, has several variations of moves, can score whenever she wants. She also plays good defense, plays both ends of the floor very well. Distributes the ball and has great court vision. An exciting player to watch!

Savanna Arce 5’7 7th Grader for NorCal Future- Physical strong player. Can shoot from outside and attack the rim. Played well on both ends of the floor.

Kaylin Randhawa 5’11 8th Grader for Pitman has great size and length. Another versatile player that can play 1-4. Will bring the ball up, shoot from the outside, or attack the basket. Has a lot of potential and upside to her game.

Rainah Smith 5’8 8th Grader for Cal Stars has great length, size, and athleticism. Played fearless on plays both ends of the floor equally well. Unselfish player and will make the extra pass when necessary. When the opportunity is open she will attack the basket. Has  a lot of potential.

Saupuni Mavaega 5’9 8th Grader for MRC very strong and physical player. The post area is her game and she will get you rebounds for sure. Has a nice drop step to the basket, defends well against other players her same height.  A player you need to do the hard labor in the paint area.

Ava Alvarez 5’4 8th Grader for North Bay played with an uptempo style. Got after it on defense, picked up full court  and played both ends of the floor equally well. Plays fearless, willing to guard anyone.

Tal Webb 5’10 8th Grader for North Bay Elite is another versatile player that can play 1-3. She can shoot, drive, and penetrate who can also be flashy at times. Plays with a lot of confidence and gets it done on both ends of the floor. Solid fundamental skills with great courta vision. Fun to watch.

Yaniah Fleming 5’3 8th grader for MRC gets it done on offense and defense. Plays with a lot of intensity and played fearless against the competition. Shoots well from the outside and will penetrate if you give her the opportunity. A true scorer.

Carla Pelino 5’10 7th Grader for Union has great size and hands. Defends well, makes it difficult for the offensive player to score with her long reach. Stays on the boards and will get you rebounds. A lot of potential to her game.

Tatyana Jackson 5’8 7th Grader- Did a solid job on both ends of the floor. Was active on defense and played hard throughout the game. Continuously on the boards and hustled.

Hoops On The Hill put on by the Ca Ballaz. Several Bay Area teams came out to participate in the Ca Ballaz Hoops On The Hill Tourney such as NorCalSparks, Team Mariani, MRC Rebels, Palo Alto Midnight, Golden City, Team California, Warriors Elite, Hoop-Life, Peninsula Elite, and many more.
